Services & Process

Precise design. No supply.

We are a design-only studio. We do not supply furniture, worktops, or appliances. What we do is design — with rigour, clarity, and attention to every detail — and hand you a complete drawing set ready for your chosen suppliers and makers.

Kitchen Design

A fully resolved kitchen design — from initial layout to final technical drawings.

We design kitchens that are architecturally considered and functionally precise. Whether you are renovating an existing space or building from scratch, we work through every dimension, material, and detail until the design is complete. You receive a full drawing set — plans, elevations, sections, and specifications — ready for your chosen kitchen supplier to price and build.

What's included

  • Space planning and layout options
  • Material and finish direction
  • Appliance and hardware specification
  • Full technical drawing set
  • Supplier-ready documentation

Furniture Design

Bespoke furniture designed to your space, your brief, and your maker.

From fitted wardrobes and bedroom cabinetry to freestanding pieces and built-in storage, we design furniture that is resolved in every detail. We produce the drawings and specifications your joiner or furniture maker needs to build exactly what was designed — nothing is left to interpretation.

What's included

  • Concept and design development
  • Material and finish specification
  • Joinery and construction details
  • Technical drawings for your maker
  • Hardware and fitting schedules

Design for Self-Builders

Kitchen and furniture design integrated into your self-build from the outset.

Self-build projects demand design decisions earlier and with more precision than a standard renovation. We work directly with self-builders to design kitchens and furniture that integrate seamlessly with the architecture — providing the drawings your builders, joiners, and contractors need at every stage.

What's included

  • Early-stage design input and coordination
  • Integration with structural and architectural drawings
  • Stage-by-stage drawing releases
  • Contractor-ready specifications
  • Ongoing design support through build

Clear, precise drawings that remove ambiguity on site. We produce documentation that your team can build from with confidence.

Self-Builders

Design input from the earliest stages of your project, coordinated with your wider build team and delivered in stages as your project progresses.

Process

The design process

Every project follows a clear, structured process. You always know where we are, what comes next, and what you will receive at each stage.

Discovery

Week 1

We begin with a detailed brief. We want to understand your space, how you live and work in it, your aesthetic direction, your budget parameters, and your timeline. For kitchen projects, a site visit is standard. For remote clients, we work from measured drawings and photographs.

Deliverable

Agreed brief and project scope

Concept

Weeks 2–3

Initial design concepts presented for review. We explore layout options, proportions, and material directions — enough to establish the right approach before committing to detail. Presented as drawings and visual references, not mood boards.

Deliverable

Concept drawings and material direction

Design Development

Weeks 3–5

The chosen concept is developed in full detail. Every element is resolved — dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware, appliances, and construction method. This is where the design becomes buildable.

Deliverable

Developed design drawings and specification

Technical Drawings

Weeks 5–7

Full technical drawing set produced. Plans, elevations, sections, joinery details, and written specifications — everything your supplier or maker needs to price and build the design accurately.

Deliverable

Complete technical drawing set

Sign-off

Week 7–8

Final review and approval. We walk through the complete drawing set together, answer any questions, and make any final adjustments. You leave with everything your maker needs to build exactly what was designed.

Deliverable

Approved drawing set and supplier documentation
